About the Office of the Provost

Maria Pallavicini, Ph.D., is the Provost and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs. The Provost is the Chief Academic Officer for the University of the Pacific and provides leadership and oversight for the Academic Division. Administratively, the Academic Division is comprised of eight Schools, including the College of the Pacific (our liberal arts center), and multiple administrative offices housing functions such as Faculty Affairs, Enrollment Management,  Educational Effectiveness, Graduate School, Research & Sponsored Projects, Undergraduate Education, and University College.

The Office of the Provost includes the Provost, the members of the Provost's Academic Leadership team, the Provost's Chief of Staff, Executive Assistant and various support staff.
