Upcoming Budget Workshop and other financial resources to help employees prepare for biweekly payroll

To help employees prepare financially for the payroll changes coming this summer, Human Resources is offering a Budget Planning Workshop on the Stockton campus (available by webinar on the Sacramento and San Francisco campuses). A variety of budget tools also are available to help employees learn how to set financial goals, track daily spending, prepare personal spending plan and explore ways to manage bills. 

The budget workshop will be facilitated by a Pacific alumnus, Gio Trinchera, from the Bank of Stockton. In the 90-minute workshop, employees will use basic budgeting tools to plan their monthly income and expenses in preparation of the change to biweekly pay. The workshop is free and open to all Pacific employees. To sign up or learn more, please contact Linda Jeffers, director of Human Resources (ljeffers@pacific.edu).​

To further help employees with this transition, budgeting and financial assistance is available by calling the Employee Assistance Program toll-free at 1.877.595.5281 (ask for financial planning/budgeting assistance and tell them you are from the University of the Pacific), or visiting www.GuidanceResources.com (REGISTER using EAPBusiness as the Organization Web ID, and UNIVE as the Company name).

The Transition Assistance Program can also help employees financially through either an interest-free loan and/or a one-time vacation cash out. You can participate in either or both.
