Applying to PharmD Early Decision

Make Pacific's PharmD your top choice and receive an admission decision by October 20, 2017.

Early Decision is an option for students who are committed to Pacific.  Applying Early Decision will decrease the time and stress it takes applying to multiple programs, while enjoying a cost savings on application fees. You will be competing with fewer students, thus, enhancing your chances of being invited for an interview. Students offered Early Admission gain more time to find a roommate, a place to live, and overall prepare for professional pharmacy school.  You must submit and designate Early Decision on the PharmCAS application.  PharmCAS must receive the application, official transcripts, and fee by September 5, 2017 to be considered. Early Decision candidates will receive priority in the review process and will receive a decision by October 20, 2017.

Early Decision Benefits

  • Decrease time, cost, and stress  of applying to multiple programs
  • Reduces or eliminates duplicate applications, data and transcripts
  • Enhance your chances of being invited to an interview
  • Gain more time to prepare for professional school

The University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences participates in an online application program known as PharmCAS.  The Pacific supplemental application can be found in the "Program Materials" section of the PharmCAS application. Students are required to apply through PharmCAS, concurrently completing the Supplemental Application for Pacific. You will miss the deadline if you do not submit the PharmCAS with supplemental questions by December 1st.

If your file is complete and meets the September 5th deadline, but you did not indicate early decision status on your PharmCAS application, you will be reviewed for Tier 1 regular admission.

The application instructions are found HERE.

Please read the instructions before you begin the PharmCAS application.  The supplemental questions are included in the PharmCAS platform.   Students are responsible for reading the instructions and submitting all required documents by the deadline date.
